Lawyer seeks acquittal for 2nd defendant in Montreal drive-by shooting that killed teen

The lawyer for one of many males charged within the drive-by shooting of a 15-year-old lady in Montreal has informed a jury his shopper was a passive presence on the evening of her dying.

Martin Latour stated throughout closing arguments that his shopper Aymane Bouadi was driving alongside in a rental automobile pushed by his buddy when Meriem Boundaoui was killed on Feb. 7, 2021.

Boundaoui was within the passenger seat of a unique car that was struck by bullets in Montreal’s St-Léonard borough.

Each Bouadi and his co-accused, Salim Touaibi, are charged with first-degree homicide in her dying, in addition to tried homicide of individuals standing close by.


Touaibi has stated he was the shooter, however testified he didn’t understand Boundaoui or anybody else was within the different automobile when he shot at it.
