Search resumes for man who fell through the ice on Montreal river

Police are looking for a person who fell by the ice on Thursday within the Prairies River in Montreal.

They are saying two younger males had been strolling on the frozen floor of the river in Montreal’s Île-Bizard—Sainte-Geneviève borough when the ice gave manner.

One man was pulled from the water and brought to hospital the place he was handled for his accidents.

The second man was swept away by the present and police couldn’t discover him on Thursday after a prolonged search.


They’ve resumed looking out alongside the riverbank and with two boats and a drone.

Cégep Gérald-Godin, a close-by junior school, says the lacking man is considered one of its college students.
