Reconstruction of Highway 520 overpass over Highway 13 prompts weekend closures

Transport Quebec says the intersection of Freeway 13 and Freeway 520 will probably be closed over the approaching weekend.

Officers say the closure is because of the reconstruction of the Freeway 520 overpass over Freeway 13.

Beginning Friday at 8 p.m., the 520 between exit No. 4 and the doorway to the 13 North will probably be closed. One lane on Freeway 13 will probably be eliminated till April 17 at 10 p.m.

Beginning Saturday at 1 a.m. till Monday at 5 a.m., the next closures will probably be in impact:

  • The service highway on Freeway 520 eastbound between the doorway to the 13 South and the ramp from the 13 North
  • The ramp from the 13 South to the 520 East.
  • The ramp from the 520 East to the 13 North
  • 23 Avenue northbound, between Louis-A. Amos and Côte-de-Liesse Highway eastbound.

Detours will probably be marked with short-term signage.
