The gathering, which contains greater than 5,000 objects, was donated to the town’s Centre des mémoires montréalaises and will probably be displayed within the coming years as a part of varied museum initiatives.
The purpose is to protect the heritage of the enduring website in Montreal’s Chinatown, which has been described as a pillar of Montreal’s historical past of migration, commerce and neighbourhood life.
Wing Noodles closed in November 2025 after 128 years of service.
The buildings that housed the manufacturing unit have been designated as heritage buildings by the federal government of Quebec in 2023 and the town in 2024.
