TUMBLER RIDGE — Governor Common Mary Simon can be in Tumbler Ridge, B.C., subsequent week to assist the group’s “ongoing therapeutic journey” months after a lethal mass taking pictures claimed eight lives.
The Workplace of the Secretary to the Governor Common says in an announcement that Simon will go to the group for 3 days beginning Monday.
It says she is going to meet with native officers together with Mayor Darryl Krakowka, and firefighters, paramedics and members of the Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd RCMP detachments who responded to the taking pictures.
The assertion says Simon will even go to the memorial web site for a “second to replicate,” and to put a “paper coronary heart with a message written on it.”
It says Simon will meet with college students, college employees and others impacted by the taking pictures, an occasion that can be closed to media.
