The main entrance to the Fabre metro station on the Blue line will be closed for construction work until 2028 starting this week.
According to the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), major renovation work will be carried out on the fixed staircases and the concrete slab of the main kiosk. A new substation will also be built near the station for the Blue line extension during this period.
Passengers need to use Entrance B, located at the corner of Jean-Talon and Fabre streets while the main entrance is closed.

The bus stops at the station will also be moved during the construction which will happen in two phases with the first phase starting this week and lasting for four weeks and the second phase starting September 2026 and going on till the winter of 2028.
The stop for the 45 Papineau line will be relocated south of the intersection with Jean-Talon Street this week. Starting next month, the 93 bus line will also be moved to Jean-Talon Street.
