A 16-year-old day camp employee was arrested Thursday after police say three minors were sexually assaulted last month at a day camp in Ahuntsic–Cartierville.
Montreal police say the teenager turned himself in at the request of investigators from the SPVM sexual assault section and later appeared in court.
He faces charges of sexual assault, sexual contact, voyeurism, and the production, possession, and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

The SPVM began investigating July 31 after a report of sexual acts against a child attending the day camp.
“The employee in question was quickly removed from his duties and then interviewed by investigators from the sexual assault section,” Montreal police said in a news release.
Investigators say they then determined there were two additional victims.
Authorities have not revealed the ages of the three victims.
The day camp has been identified in various media reports as Loisirs Sophie-Barat.
