Two men hospitalized after overnight fight in Montreal’s St-Michel

Two men were wounded after a brawl in Montreal’s St-Michel neighbourhood early Friday morning.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call at 12:30 a.m. about the incident at the intersection of Crémazie Boulevard and Musset Avenue.

“When police arrived at the scene, they located two victims, a 20-year-old man and another man in his 30s,” said Caroline Chèvrefils, a spokesperson for Montreal police. “They had upper-body injuries, possibly caused by a sharp object.”

Police said a fight broke out among several people. The two men were transported to hospital, where officials confirmed their injuries were not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.

A security perimeter has been established, and the investigation is ongoing.
