A 35-year-old woman died Friday night after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a tree in Laval.
Laval Police Service spokesperson Geneviève Major told CityNews the woman was travelling westbound on Saint-Martin Boulevard at around 10 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle for a reason that has not yet been established.
She was taken to hospital, where her death was confirmed, Major said.
Three teenage girls were also involved in the collision. Two were 15 years old and one was 16. Major said they suffered non-life-threatening injuries, including leg and back injuries, as well as other minor injuries.
