OTTAWA — The Canadian Union of Postal Employees says its members will maintain a ratification vote on tentative agreements with Canada Put up between April 20 and Might 30.
The offers with two bargaining items had been reached in late December, after almost two years of labour strife.
Employees had been out on the picket line a number of instances because the negotiations dragged on, with the 2 sides at odds over pay and structural adjustments to the postal service.
The union has beforehand mentioned it’s recommending its 55,000 members vote in favour of the agreements.
Canada Put up says the proposals embody greater wages, enhanced advantages and a mannequin for weekend parcel supply.
The union and the Crown company have agreed that no strike or lockout motion will occur through the ratification course of.
