TORONTO — The sixth of seven complainants in Frank Stronach’s sexual assault trial is predicted to take the stand in Toronto as we speak.
Stronach, the founding father of the auto components conglomerate Magna Worldwide, has pleaded not responsible to 12 costs associated to alleged incidents spanning from the Seventies to the Nineties.
Prosecutors allege he knew the complainants didn’t consent to sexual exercise or was wilfully blind to that truth.
On Tuesday, Stronach’s lawyer questioned the fifth complainant, a girl in her early 70s, about a lot of particulars in her testimony that she had not beforehand informed to police or prosecutors.
Leora Shemesh urged the girl has a “tendency to lie” and would provide you with “one other story” if she testified lengthy sufficient.
The girl mentioned she was telling the reality and disclosing particulars as she remembered them.
Not one of the complainants may be recognized underneath a regular publication ban.
