13 teens arrested in connection with major brawl on Montreal’s South Shore

13 teenagers have been arrested following a collection of violent occasions that occurred within the Quartier Dix30 space of Brossard on Montreal’s South Shore.

A video posted to social media by the Longueuil Police Service seems to point out a bunch of youths brawling, shoving one another to the bottom and kicking each other; one youth is depicted holding a baton and placing one other youth on the bottom.

Police say the state of affairs performed out on April 18.

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital.

Police started an investigation involving the execution of 12 searches in Longueuil, Saint-Philippe-de-La Prairie and Candiac.

On Wednesday, officers arrested 13 boys between the ages of 15 and 16 years previous.


Police say the kids arrested may face costs of armed assault, assault and aiding and abetting.

In an announcement to the media, Longueuil police stated all violent acts will likely be met with “rigorous intervention and applicable authorized motion.”
