Julie Gascon has left her position as president and CEO of the Montreal Port Authority, which manages the most important container port in Jap Canada.
The authority, which operates the inland port linking Canada to international markets through the St. Lawrence River, says her departure comes after she took on the position in early 2024.

In a brief assertion issued on its web site on Friday, the port authority stated her departure was efficient that day.
Her departure comes as port administration has been stressing the urgency of a serious growth mission, at the same time as cargo volumes have declined in recent times.
