$40,000 in medical equipment stolen from Montreal’s Sacre Coeur Hospital

Montreal police are investigating the theft of roughly $40,000 price of medical gear from Sacré-Cœur Hospital.

In response to police, a lady reported the theft at a Montreal police station on Could 2 at roughly 9:45 a.m. She instructed investigators {that a} man had gained entry to a semi-restricted space of the hospital earlier that day and stole a number of items of medical gear valued at about $40,000.

Police haven’t disclosed the lady’s connection to the case.

Investigators say the suspect was seen leaving the scene following the theft. Surveillance footage has been obtained, and witnesses have been interviewed as a part of the continued investigation.

No arrests have been made.

In an e-mail assertion to CityNews, Santé Québec Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal – Universitaire stated it couldn’t touch upon the incident as a result of the investigation stays ongoing.
