A 68-year-old man died Sunday evening in Sherbrooke after losing control of his vehicle and ending up in a ditch.
The incident, in which no other vehicles were reportedly involved, occurred shortly before 8 p.m. on Chemin Saint-Roch Nord.
According to information gathered by the Sherbrooke Police Department, the vehicle reportedly left the roadway and rolled over several times. It reportedly came to rest in a ditch after overturning.
The 68-year-old man who was behind the wheel was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Sherbrooke police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. Witnesses have been interviewed.
Chemin Saint-Roch Nord was closed to traffic for several hours on Sunday before reopening late in the evening.
