The body of a man in his thirties was discovered Saturday morning near a motorcycle on the side of the road in Saint-Théodore-d’Acton, in Montérégie.
Emergency services pronounced the victim dead directly at the scene, after a citizen reported a motorcycle outside of Route 139 at around 8:40 a.m.
“For the moment, we are talking about a collision investigation that took place throughout the morning,” SQ spokesman Louis-Philippe Ruel said in an interview with The Canadian Press. We’re going to try to understand what happened, how this swerve could have happened.”
According to the SQ, the man was from the Granby region.
