BIXI launching in Dorval with 6 stations, 66 bikes

BIXI is coming to Dorval.

The bike-sharing service announced Monday that 66 bicycles and six stations will be in Dorval.

There is an equal amount of electric and regular bicycles.

The stations will be near sports facilities, green spaces, the waterfront and the Dorval train station.

“This rollout helps strengthen our presence in the western part of the Island of Montreal and makes bike-sharing accessible to a growing number of people,” said Christian Vermette, general manager of BIXI Montréal. “It is part of our ongoing expansion and responds to a growing demand for more flexible, accessible, and sustainable mobility solutions.”

Users can locate the stations and view the bikes’ availability via the BIXI mobile app or website.
