Montreal police cruiser, firetruck collide while responding to blaze; no serious injuries

A Montreal police cruiser and a firetruck have been broken after colliding whereas responding to a fireplace within the metropolis’s Sainte-Marie neighbourhood late Tuesday evening.

Montreal police mentioned the crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on the intersection of Ontario and Frontenac streets.

In accordance with authorities, each emergency autos have been heading to the scene of a blaze with their sirens activated when the collision occurred.

Two cops have been taken to hospital as a precaution, police mentioned. No firefighters have been injured.

The extent of the injury to the autos was not instantly recognized.
