Three men arrested after armed robbery in Longueuil

Longueuil Police (SPAL) say three men were arrested Wednesday afternoon in Longueuil after a 14-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted and robbed near Marquette Park.

Officers were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. regarding an armed robbery that occurred in the park area.

Police say the 14-year-old boy was allegedly physically assaulted by several individuals, who then allegedly stole an item from him before fleeing the scene.

Police were able to locate the suspects and arrested three men.

The victim did not suffer any serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and SPAL is not ruling out the possibility that other individuals were involved.
